One first class Physics Electronics graduate, wey don dey find job for two years since she finish from Ajayi Crowther University, don get employment after Premium Times publish a report on her matter.
Odufuwa Sola, 22, did no only graduate with first class but she be the best graduating student for the university for that year with 4.83 G.P.A .
She get the honour to deliver a farewell speech in the school. But after she graduate, she find job for years and when she no see, she begin learn tailoring for Ijebu-Ode , Ogun State.
Around October, she enter Twitter to beg people to help her find job.
Premium Times publised a story on her and e drag the attention of Adamu Garba, the CEO of IPI Solution Ltd, an IT firm with offices in Lagos and Abuja.
Garba reached out to Ms. Sola via Twitter and within days she get employment for project development and IT solutions after job interview.
The company also don enroll her for mentorship scheme. The young lady dey try settle down for her new job and new life in Lagos .
As she dey talk about the new job, Ms, Sola say: “It’s actually a different field from what I learnt in school. It ’s all about programming. The company has done well by providing me with a new laptop, eBooks, and videos to aid my transition into the IT world. And I have colleagues around me who are always willing and ready to help.
It’s challenging but I know with time I will adjust.”
Ms. Sola say she love her new job and that the pay sef good for a start. She thank Premium Times for doing a story on her and also thank her new boss, Mr. Garba, as him give her the opportunity to work
for the IT company.
